I recently talked to a long time friend who has been in overseas missions for many years. I asked her how long it takes for churches abroad to become self sustaining. What she told me changed our lives. She said it is almost impossible for churches in countries with few resourses to survive without outside support. We know with God that all things are possible, and we believe that He uses all of us to help fulfill His will where hope looks impossible. That ignited the inspiration and motivation to launch the Sonoda Foundation.
Here at Comunidad Encuentro, we are devoted to bringing awareness to this strong body of believers, led by a inspired group of young adults who put their trust in Christ to launch an all out effort to reach the lost and hurting.
